Jairzinho Rozenstruik Released from UFC

Sensational news from the world of MMA: Dana White has decided to part ways with Jairzinho Rozenstruik. The heavyweight from Suriname is no longer a UFC fighter. Why did the promotion refuse to cooperate with the formidable knockout artist? What are his future prospects? Is it possible for him to appear in the PFL? The sheikhs are ready to pay the heavyweight, because throughout his career the Surinamese has repeatedly shown himself from the best side and delivered excellent fights. The PFL and UFC continue to fight for the podium, so it would not be superfluous to sign legendary fighters from either organization.

Ngannou has not yet pleased with his presence and spectacle, so it is necessary to take important steps forward to increase competition. The 22bet BD line has an excellent line for MMA: UFC is a priority, but in addition to the best organization, there are enough offers for fans of mixed martial arts.

Dana White fired Rozenstruik: unhappy with everything!

An unexpected turn in the career of Jairzinho Rozenstruik: the UFC no longer needs his services. The management of the organization, headed by Dana White, decided to terminate the contract with the fighter. There are no official statements yet, but insiders claim that the reason was dissatisfaction with the athlete’s performance. “Big Boy” after a 10-0 series has significantly lost ground and lost 6 fights out of 11 attempts. His first defeat was inflicted on him by Francis Ngannou – maybe the PFL will sign the Surinamese and create a rematch?

Rozenstruik, once considered one of the main hopes of the heavyweight division, has not really pleased fans with victories lately. Despite the high level of striking technique, he has lost his status as a top contender. His style has become predictable, and a series of losses has made continuing his career in the UFC extremely doubtful.

Why Jairzinho Rozenstruik Is Not Good for the UFC?

Jairzinho Rozenstruik burst into the UFC in 2019 with several impressive victories. However, over time, his effectiveness has declined. Let’s look at the main reasons why the UFC decided to part ways with the fighter:

  • Inconsistent results. After impressive knockouts over Andrei Arlovski and Alistair Overeem, Rozenstruik faced serious problems. He lost key fights to Cyril Gane, Curtis Blaydes, and Alexander Volkov. Ngannou destroyed Jairzinho first, and in 20 seconds.
  • Inconsistent fighting style. The UFC relies on spectacular performances, but Rozenstruik often looked passive. His cautious style disappointed fans and the promotion’s management.
  • High fee. Jairzinho’s contract included significant payments, but his results did not justify such expenses. The UFC prefers to invest money in more promising and spectacular fighters.
  • Low title chances. The UFC heavyweight division is full of young and ambitious athletes, such as Sergei Pavlovich and Tom Aspinall. Against their background, Rozenstruik looked pale and did not demonstrate clear prospects in the title race.

Thus, his dismissal was a logical step for the UFC. However, Rozenstruik does not want to end his career.

Could Rozenstruik go to the PFL?

After breaking his contract with the UFC, Jairzinho Rozenstruik has new career paths. One of the most likely options is a move to the PFL (Professional Fighters League).

Why is this possible:

  • The PFL is actively signing former UFC fighters. Recently, such stars as Francis Ngannou, Thiago Santos and Derrick Lewis have moved there.
  • The league format suits Rozenstruik. The PFL tournament system allows him to get to the title fight and earn solid prize money in one season.
  • Financial prospects. In the PFL, fighters receive decent fees, and given Rozenstruik’s status, he can count on a good contract.

However, there are other options: while Bellator is still alive, or he can even go to ONE Championship, where he could be offered new challenges. In any case, Rozenstruik remains a sought-after fighter and will certainly find a new platform to continue his career.

The dismissal of Jairzinho Rozenstruik from the UFC was a high-profile event. Although his results and style could raise questions, he remains a dangerous opponent for any fighter. Will he stay in the top promotion or try himself in another organization? We will find out the answer to this question very soon.
